Some common foods that can cause diarrhea in dogs include: - Rich or fatty foods like gravy,🍔 cheese, or table scraps - Chocolate, caffeine, alcohol, and other stimulants - Raw meat, eggs, and bones which can be difficult to digest - Milk since many adult dogs are 🍦lactose intolerant - Fruits high in sugar like raisins or grapes🍇 which may cause gastrointestinal upset - Artificial sweeteners and sugarless gum or candy which contain xylitol If your dog has eaten any of these foods and experiences diarrhea, it's best to withhold food for a few hours and offer small amounts of a bland diet like boiled chicken and rice until the symptoms pass. Contact your vet if diarrhea lasts over 24 hours.
